From $0 to $2M in 12 Months: How a Collision Repair Network Scaled In-House Calibrations and Achieved 1,761% Growth
A growing multi-location collision repair network in the Pacific Northwest initially outsourced all calibrations, leading to inefficiencies, inconsistent processes, and missed revenue opportunities. To address these challenges, asTech implemented structured SOPs, upgraded scanning technology, and launched five dedicated calibration labs across multiple locations between January and April 2024. These changes streamlined operations, improved service quality, and enabled in-house calibrations, ensuring better process tracking and compatibility with evolving vehicle technologies.
The results were transformative—by January 2025, the company completed 529 in-house calibrations, marking a 155.7% increase since April 2024, and achieving 3,854 calibrations in just nine months (1,761% growth). This shift generated nearly $2 million in top-line revenue within a year, expanded operations from 35 to 39 shop locations, and grew calibration labs from 0 to 5 with a team of 14 technicians and 2 porters. Standardized processes and technology investments also improved efficiency, accountability, and overall service reliability.

Action Required: Add Nissan to Your AutoAuth Account
We’ve expanded our Secure Gateway (SGW) support to include Nissan. To continue performing full diagnostics on Nissan vehicles, shops must update their AutoAuth account to include Nissan.
Why This Matters:
- Nissan vehicles now require SGW authorization for certain scan and diagnostic functions.
- Without updating AutoAuth, some diagnostic features may be restricted.
