Head Scratcher – Solving a Subaru EyeSight Calibration Challenge

A repair shop recently struggled with a Subaru EyeSight calibration that kept failing despite multiple attempts. Unaware of a critical new requirement, they reached out to asTech Mechanical for expert guidance.With certain 2020+ Subaru models, replacing the EyeSight module now requires an immobilizer registration procedure, a crucial step that ensures proper system function and enhanced vehicle security. Meet the Team – Eric Rauch, VP BD & Strategic Accounts

We’re excited to introduce Eric Rauch this month! Eric brings 25+ years of automotive experience to the team. He started his automotive journey preparing components for OnStar system builds and later transitioned into sales roles, where his passion for customer engagement thrived. After working with several large Tier 1 parts suppliers in sales, Eric moved into business development, expanding technology-driven solution-selling initiatives at Identifix for over five years.Eric’s move to Repairify was driven by the opportunity to apply his expertise in technology integrations and data solutions alongside Repairify’s pending purchase of BlueDriver. Initially, he spent his first few years in Repairify’s Repair OnDemand division before transitioning to asTech when mechanical-focused opportunities started to take shape.Eric has been an instrumental asset to the asTech Mechanical team, ensuring customers’ needs are met with value-added technology solutions that the industry demands.We’re thrilled to have Eric on the team and look forward to the success he’ll bring to our mechanical solutions!

We had an incredible time at the Mac Tools Expo (Feb 28 – Mar 1) in Washington, D.C., where we connected with around 1,000 Mac Tools franchisees, showcasing the value of asTech Mechanical.
